The Grand Final trophy in 2008 was dedicated to the memory of Luke Timu. Luke was well known in country music circles around the North Island and competed at the US Talent Quest in 2006. Luke was looking forward to competing in 2007 but unfortunately he passed away unexpectedly.
Global Quest 4 Talent has the exclusive rights to hold the NZ-US Talent Quest in the Oceania region and we have been taking singers to the US Talent Quest since 2005. All competitors stay at the Tropicana Express Hotel & Casino which has a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Close to 300 contestants compete during the week long competition.
