Fundraisers - New Guinness World Record

A new Guinness World Record for the Longest Karaoke Singing Marathon by an Individual was broken on Wednesday 10 June 2009 at Auckland Airport Departure Lounge by Karen Davy.

KAREN DID IT!! Dolly Parton impersonator Karen Davy and one of the artists in our SouNZ Like Tribute Show, sang for 48 hours and broke the Guinness World Record of 46hrs 38mins. What an absolutely tremendous effort. She only had a five minute break every hour and 30 seconds inbetween each song.

WELL DONE KAREN. MANY THANKS ON BEHALF OF KIDNEY KIDS AND THEIR FAMILIES!! Karen as since become an Ambassador for Kidney Kids.
