CORPORATE TAKEOVER CHARITY BOXING MATCH
FOR KIDNEY KIDS
Friday 14 May was a fabulous evening at Eden Park. Karen and Gloria-Jean went along to Eden Park as the Topp Twins where the Corporate Takeover Boxing Match was being held to raise funds for Kidney Kids. We made the "A" List so check out the links below to see the photos.Lana Cockroft and Willie Lose were the hosts for the evening whilst Stars In Your Eyes finalist "Thomas Stowers" provided the entertainment.
Special guest judges were Sky Sports Monty Betham and TV1's Neil Waka. An entourage of televisions new brat pack Ben Mitchell (Dr TK Samuels), Karl Te nana, Sky Sports Dennis Katsanos made an appearance.
While former Warrior teammates Awen Guttenbeil and Logan Swann were on hand to support "Stanley Entertainment" as was Mr Rugby League himself none other than Mad Butcher "Peter Leitch" always pushing the envelope on the night.
All Black great and Rugby World Cup winner Joe Stanley enjoyed sitting back relaxing looking out at the great work and effort younger brother Martin displayed to put on such an event. Even the big fella Fijian winger, All Black Joeli Vidiri who awaits a kidney donor was amazed by the response of those attending this charity event.
While there were many present the one personality who stole the show was none other than Burger King, Rebel Sports magnate David Tuamanator. Tua who auctioned himself for a one off photo for $500 which sold in seconds.
