2008 is the fourth year Global Quest 4 Talent has taken singers to Laughlin/Las Vegas to compete at the US National Talent Quest. 40,000 singers started out on their journey to the final in Laughlin from all over America and up to 300 competed at the final in September.US Talent Quest is the biggest staged in America being only surpassed by American Idol. Appearing at the Talent Quest offers the opportunity to sign a contract to potentially move forward in the entertainment industry.
This year all performances were videoed by a video production company for a television documentary. They took a special interest in the Kiwis and interviewed several of our singers.
Since 2005 New Zealand has been the only country outside the Americas to be in the competition but other countries will be invited to attend in 2009 and beyond.

- Duets
